All Through the Valley is one of the later songs of Swamp Folk formation Vurdalak.
The theme of the song is one that is hard to fully get a grip on, yet it deals with something every one of us feels once in a while...
"...that life is a play in this huge theatre
And there are people in the audience
Who don't know were they're going
And don't know were they've been
There is a world without freedom
And there is a world without sin
But shaking your sins of you
And soaking yourself to the unknown
That will never lead a restless soul back home"
The song is about the feeling to move away to exotic places, always in search of a better future. A song to the brave men that fight against time, space and loneliness, but who are still doomed to lose this fight because this safe haven they are looking for doesn't seem to exist anywhere outside the ideals and flickering thoughts in their own heads.
You can find the song "All Through the Valley" on the new Vurdalak Album.
