The quite extraordinairy process of turning into cardboard

Cardboarderialisation is the name for a weird kind of transformation that an object can go through, namely the transformation from a perfectly fine three-dimensional object into a two dimensional surface made of cardboard.
Any object that has gone through an cardboarderialisation, and has therefore been cardboarderialised, compresses into a board of paper with a thickness of around half an inch. The origin of this transformation, that seems to come out of nowhere, has not yet been properly studied and there are no result or reports of any significant scientific research concentrating on this rare phenomenon. The band Vurdalak however had some experience with this phenomenon since their Violin player, Baron P, has undergone a serious case of cardboarderialisation and is now completely cardboarderialised.

The Vurdalak Research Team (VRT) is currently working on a device to inverse the transformation, thus making it possible for Vurdalak to play with their (3 dimensional) violin player once again. They have no result until now, but are very optimistic about the whole matter. "We expect to have a working de-cardboarderialiser before the end of the year."

The VRT managed to complete their decardboarderialiser in time and they decarboarderialised Baron P. with it. Vurdalak was complete on stage for the first time thanks to the Vurdalak Research Team.
