What does it mean?Doing your thing, means something like "doing what you feel while feeling what you do " or vice versa. However this may sound cryptic, it is probably the best translation available. The "thing " which someone is "doing " probably means something like "the thing he/she is good at " or "the thing he/she really likes to do ". As always, the only way of really finding out what it means, is to watch how people use the term in real life. The only way to really know it by heart, is to get a feeling for it. |
