Some noteworthy contributions made by the VRT include:
The De-Cardboarderialiser
A machine which is capable of turning things back to their original state. It was used the 29th December 2009 to turn Baron P, Vurdalak’s violin player who had previously turned into cardboard, back into a three dimensional person. The device broke down shortly after, causing the poor fellow to turn back into cardboard once more. However, the Vurdalak Research Team has great hopes that with a bit more Quantum-Electric-Magno-Radiation and using an even better pair of screwdrivers, Baron P will walk the earth once more. While being three dimensional that is.
A clever device which is able to manipulate any auto-tuned sound waves and deliver to it a more amusing and more musical sound. While tests using the prototype show great promise, the Auto-De-Tune is not yet ready to be manufactured at great scale, and people who are anxious to fight the Autotune disease should try to keep waiting a bit longer.
The Super Sloth Detector 2000-X
A device which is able to detect . This is an exceptional feat, because Super Sloths move extremely fast and are hardly ever seen by mortal eyes. Unlike it predeccors, the Super Sloths Detector 2000-X, however, does not use radar to detect Super Sloths, but uses a very complex microphone which is able to recognise the specific way in which a Super Sloths plays the guitar solo in the song Purple Haze on a Gibson flying V from many miles away. This has already let to the first two pictures showing a Super Sloth in action, which can be found in the Super Sloth article in this Encyclopedia.
