We have just seen the end of the First Vurdafest, which took place in the lovely Vondelpark, Amsterdam with only a small, select, audience. Even due to it's small size, this Vurdafest gave us a clear idea on how to plan and shape the coming Vurdafests. Namely by more interactive and improvised group music, and a lot more good food.
Even though the attendance was rather small, Vurdafest 1 was lucky enough to have some great musicians among it's guests, I'd like to name Maurice and his violin and of course sir Fiedeldeidop on his guitar, which, logically, resulted in various heart warming musical jams. For an example of this music, I advice listening to the jam we named "Vurdafest 1 Jam 2" based on a tune by Django Reinhart.
These jams have all been recorded using a tiny recorder, and the recordings can be found within the links on your left.
Coming Vurdafest will bring you the same, only more, bigger, and better.
